Birds

Tit species of Switzerland

(and central Europe)

Coloured pencil on hot pressed watercolour paper – A3 (29.7 x 52 cm)

Tits are small, lively birds found across Europe, Asia, and parts of North America. Known for their agility and curious nature, they often visit gardens and woodlands in search of insects, seeds, and nuts. The most commonly observed species in central Europe include the Blue Tit, Great Tit, and Coal Tit.

These birds are social and intelligent, sometimes even using tools to access food. And anyone who has once held a blue tit in hand know they are fierce little devils !
